For the last 5 years, I have wanted to invest in a piece from a local artist every time we come to Maui but never found anything that really inspired me. Just to be clear, I’m not a collector and have never spent more than a few hundred on an art piece but I really wanted to start and I was blessed to walk into Belinda’s store with my wife today. With no real intention other than browsing, we started chatting with Belinda and we ended up talking for over an hour and it was one of the greatest conversations we have ever had with a stranger. As I was browsing, there was a beautiful piece painted by Belinda and I knew that was the one I wanted. Belinda worked with me and not only do I now own an amazing piece of art, I will never forget the experience of buying it and speaking personally with the artist makes it that much more special. If you are looking to buy a painting or other art, do yourself a favor and stop by and talk to Belinda. You may just end up walking out with your dream piece. Thank you so much for making my first major (for me at least) art purchase one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I got a beautifully made necklace there for my birthday and also a pair of matching earings for my mother. I simply loved them! The owner makes most of the jewelry herself. She wrote down the name of gemstones she used to make my necklace so I can remember later. I would definitely go back there and get more jewelry from her next time I visit Maui.
Belinda is the most talented and loving artist I've ever met. Blessed to have a piece of her work and to have met this wonderful person!!
