Regardless of the menu quality this restaurant refuses to serve the excellent quality Swiss water and insists on charging an astronomical amount to filter tap water again - it’s cheaper to drink beer! Such a let down and clearly represents the miserly attitude of the management towards value.
Had dinner here the other night with the family. We were accommodated promptly and professionally and I was very impressed with the healthcare measures taken in light of the current pandemic. While the food was excellent, particularly the lamb, the food service was extremely slow, which led me to rate the restaurant 3 stars.
Food was good and Tanya took great care of us. They had one waiter on leather soled shoes sliding around on the slate tiled floor...which my kids have been replicating for days now..
My partner and I had a nice dinner here during our recent visit to Zermatt. The food is excellent and the ambiance is simple and well done. What set this meal apart from other dinners in Zermatt was the service. Pierre was professional, knowledgeable and charming. Thank you for a wonderful evening Pierre!
