Reviews from visitors:
This is my favorite museum in Athens.
Firstly, even if I visited it during the covid period, the staff was really friendly to explain their specific health and safety measures contrary to many other places.
The collections themselves are really nice and organized and I really appreciate the clarity of the explanations for each item and part of the collection.
Please note that the shop of the museum offers nice products, including some local pieces of arts and reproductions of some traditional pieces. They accept the American Express.
The restaurant is also good.
I really recommend this place!
I am a lover of museums and history, so this was truly an amazing experience. I love to learn about history and culture when I travel. Greece is a wonderful place.
Amazing collection of Cycladic art. An unbelievable collection including 2 and 3rd BC jewellery. Beautifully displayed in a lovely building. Don't miss Great food and drinks served in style on the ground floor.
One of the best museums in Greece!!
Beautifully curated and tasteful museum. All white marble interior and cute café
